Bee Curious: Honey Extraction at Seeds of Hope Farm
Sr. Shirley Shafranek taught NCOESC Project Life students how we extract honey from our hives. Students spun the extractor to collect the golden goods! 
Fun fact: it takes over 10,000 bees and 8 million flowers to make just 1 lb of honey.
